ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
In compliance with the law, you will be required to complete a guest registration form upon arrival. Please be assured that your personal information remains secure and at no point will we give your details to a third party.
Rooms are available from 14:00 pm, unless an early check-in is arranged with reception. As we are a relatively small establishment we request that guests arrive by 19:30. If you require a late check-in please call us in advance. If you are delayed please be considerate and let us know.
Departure time is at 10.00 am on your last day. Late check-outs may be arranged before departure.
If you accidently take a room key home with you, we will give you five working days to post it back at your own expense. Thereafter, a replacement key charge of R500.00 will be invoiced to you for immediate payment. Please note that this fee covers the cost of a new remote for the gate as well.
Although children of any age are welcome, we do not have the facility to put extra beds in rooms. We can however supply a camp cot with linen, or an extra mattress with linen, both charged at an additional R150.00 per night. Linen charge of R250 will also apply.
We strongly suggest that 12 -16 year olds are not accommodated in a room by themselves for safety reasons and reserve the right to refuse accommodation in this instance.
We can accommodate pets on request in some of our self-catering units. Please enquire. We reserve the right to deny a request.
A R500 breakage deposit for all self-catering units applies and will get refunded after 7 days of departure if there are no damages or if the apartment is not left in a very messy state.
For the comfort of our guests, ALL bedrooms and public areas (like the dining room) are totally non-smoking. Should you be found smoking inside, we will charge a deep cleaning fee at our discretion.
You may smoke in the car park and on your private balcony, but please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
We do not allow any parties/large gatherings, loud noises or unauthorized visitors on our premises.
Cash and card facilities are available on-site. We accept most major credit cards, like VISA and Mastercard. Unfortunately, we do not accept travellers/personal cheques or foreign currency.
Guests are required to pay a 50% deposit within 48hours of booking in order to secure the room or unit.
This can be done by EFT (bank transfer) or a manual charge to your credit card. Cash deposits will attract an additional fee of R100.00, so we do not encourage it.
Sound does travel and we ask that you respect the enjoyment of other guests by keeping noise levels reasonable, especially at night time. In extreme circumstances we reserve the right to terminate a booking for unacceptable conduct. We reserve the right to refuse bookings for large single sex groups; under 21’s or Hen/Stag parties.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us or our property by your action, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
The only information that we collect off you is that necessary for the processing/verifying of your booking and a follow up after your stay for feedback on the service you received. We will not give, sell or swap your details with any third party comp
